What’s the point in living in Casa de Campo if you’re not going to have a good time? Here I bring you a few photos of how a random group of Brits (and miscellaneous other nationalities) have a good time on a Friday night in Casa de Campo La Romana! With the end of the school year looming and the inauguration ceremony of the Abraham Lincoln School art exhibit serving up free rum cocktails at the Altos de Chavón art gallery – there was a party atmosphere in the air! For me the evening’s festivities began earlier than is advisable – with the fancy hat party at this month’s legendary Cafe de la Leche, for which I decided to wear my cowboy hat and boots. For photos of this legendary Cafe de la Leche and all Casa de Campo’s ladies in their fancy hats, click here. From their I found my way to the Inauguration of the Abraham Lincoln School art exhibit, where I had a great time taking photos of all the proud kids, teachers and parents, whilst also being rather impressed by the art work. Congratulations to all the teachers and pupils – the exhibit was excellent! For photos of the inauguration of the art exhibit, click here. After 2 parties it required very little persuasion to get me to stay out in Altos de Chavón a little longer for a little dinner and a few drinks….. Here are a select few of my photos:
