‘Smoke out’ FREE Cigar Tastings at the Tabacalera de Garcia!

The Tabacalera de Garcia is the World’s LARGEST hand-rolled cigar factory, making it not only a fascinating place to visit, but also a very important part of the cigar history of the Dominican Republic, and every Wednesday they hold a Cigar Tasting or ‘Smoke out,’ which is totally free and open to anyone and everyone who wants to learn a little more about cigars and try some of the worlds finest cigars!

The Tabacalera de Garcia welcomes groups, families and individuals for factory tours everyday (except Sundays), which lead vistors through the surprisingly complex cigar-making process, a journey though the preparation of the leaves to the selection, maturation, rolling and testing that goes into the creation of every single cigar. However, on Wednesdays the Tabacalera de Garcia factory tour ends in the ‘Smoke out’ – a very special cigar tasting, when the supervisors and directors of the Tabacalera de Garcia join together with their visitors to try new cigars!

What? A cigar tasting, when visitors will be given the opportunity to learn more about the Tabacalera de Garcia and cigars by experiencing, tasting and enjoying 2 different types of cigars hand-rolled in the Tabacalera de Garcia factory, alongside the cigar makers themselves! A truly unique experience and surely the best way to really become a cigar connoisseur!

When? The ‘Smoke Out’ takes place every Wednesday from 3pm -5pm

Who? EVERYONE (who is not a minor) is welcome to attend a ‘Smoke Out’

The Cigar Factory Tour is FREE and is available Mondays to Fridays, between 8 am and 4 pm and Saturdays between 8am and 12pm, by appointment.
