Requerimos participantes para formar la Comparsa de Carnaval, que participara en el Evento del Hogar del Niño, a efectuarse en fecha del Sabado 13 de Febrero, en el Country Club de Casa de Campo. (ENGLISH TRANSLATION BELOW)
El vestuario es alusivo a los Toros de Fantasia, quienes fueron ganador del segundo lugar en Fantasia Creativa, en el Carnaval General, celebrado el año pasado en Santo Domingo.
Estara dirigida por el nombrado coreografo Oscar Grullon de Santiago de los Caballeros.
Los dias de ensayo son: Jueves 4 de febrero, Martes 9 & Jueves 11 , de 2:00 pm a 6:oopm , en la Casa de la Cultura, en la Romana.
Los requisitos para participar son:
* Gustarle bailar
* Tener entre 16 a 80 años de edad

On Saturday the 13th of February during the Hogar del Niño dinner/dance at the La Romana Country Club a ‘comparsa de carnaval’ show will take place and we need YOU to take part!
A ‘comparsa de carnaval’ essentially means part of a carnaval parade and in this case will be a choreographed parade/dance to be performed at the La Romana Country Club in front of the guests attending the dinner.
All costumes for the show/parade will be provided and are the ‘Los Toros de Fantasia’ costumes used in the ‘Carnaval General’ which took place in Santo Domingo last year – the photos above are of these costumes!
The ‘parade’ will be directed/choreographed by famous choreographer Oscar Grullon from Santiago de los Caballeros.
To take part in the parade you must attend ALL practice sessions. Practice sessions start TOMORROW, Thursday 4th of February, and will also take place on Tuesday the 9th and Thursday the 11th. Practice sessions are from 4pm-6pm in the Casa de la Cultura, on the Francisco Richiez Doucudray street (the road leading to Iberia).
To take part you must:
- enjoy dancing and having fun (wear sneakers!)
- be more than 16 years old
