Los Leones del Escogido se preparan para representar a la República Dominicana en la Serie del Caribe, que será del 2 al 9 de febrero en Isla Margarita, en Venezuela.

El presidente Leonel Fernández recibirá este lunes a la directiva y los jugadores de los Leones del Escogido, campeones nacionales del béisbol otoño-invernal, a quienes entregará la Bandera Dominicana que ondeará en el estadio de isla Margarita, Venezuela, donde se celebrará la Serie del Caribe a partir del próximo martes.

Los campeones nacionales Leones del Escogido debutan mañana ante los Indios de Mayaguez, campeones del torneo de béisbol de Puerto Rico, en el primer partido de la quincuagésima segunda edición de la Serie del Caribe.

The Leones del Escogido are preparing to represent the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Baseball Series , which will take place in Isla Margarita, Venezuela, from the 2nd to the 9th of February.

Today, the President, Leonel Fernandez, will receive the board and the players of the Leones del Escogido, national champions of the Fall-Winter season, and present them with the Dominican Flag, which will be waved at the Stadium of the Isla Margarita, where the Series will take place.

The national Champions of the Leones del Escogido will debut tomorrow against the Indios de Mayaguez, champions of the Puerto Rico Baseball Series, being the first game of the 52nd edition of the Caribbean Baseball Series.
