Golf Academy by David Leadbetter Comes to Casa de Campo

Earlier this month, on the 2nd of January, Casa de Campo’s new Golf Academy by David Leadbetter opened with a private clinic held by David Leadbetter and Suzann Petterson on the Teeth of the Dog driving range. The management of Casa de Campo is pleased to announce the instructor known around the world as “the master of the art of teaching the golf swing,”  David Leadbetter, has opened his first Caribbean location,  the new Casa de Campo Golf Academy by David Leadbetter.

“We are very excited to welcome this prestigious Golf Academy to Casa de Campo,” said Dr. Claudio Silvestri, President and CEO of Premier Resorts & Hotels that manages the resort.  “Golfers can now come to Casa de Campo not only to experience our globally acclaimed courses, but to also receive high quality instruction year around with our fabulous tropical weather.”

Identified as the number one golf instructor in the world, Leadbetter has coached many of the world’s greatest touring professionals.  Nick Faldo, Greg Norman, Curtis Strange, Trevor Immelman, Charles Howell III, Michele Wie, Ian Poulter and more have turned to Leadbetter to polish strategic skills.   One of Leadbetter’s Sr. Certified Instructors, Tim Vickers, is on staff at Casa de Campo to provide hotel guests with the highest level of instruction and club fitting program.  All lessons, clinics, and schools will use top quality V1 video capturing system during their programs, with teaching aids and launch monitor.   Lessons are available for individuals, groups, in half-days and full days.  One-hour private lessons for adults will be $150 including taxes and for juniors (17 years of age and under), $125 including taxes
