The hotel lobby opens TODAY – we reveal the finishing touches

Yesterday we were VERY excited to report that the new Casa de Campo lobby, gym and pool area would be open today however we are sad to say that in fact just the new hotel lobby area will be opened. The lobby area is scheduled to be opened and fully operational from this EVENING, Thursday the 17th of December. 

We apologise for any confusion, the pool area will be opened on Friday or Saturday and the gym will be open tomorrow between the hours of 9am and 12 for the CYBEX golf training session, but will not be open for general use. But don’t panic it will all be open very very soon and it all looks fantastic – undoubtedly worth the wait!

Earlier this week, I published a series of photographs of what I understood to be the ‘completed’ lobby, but when I returned again to visit I found EVEN more changes, additions and finishing touches.

The area has now been decorated with beautiful glass candle holders in gorgeous blue and green, dishes of smooth brown and white stones, tall glass vases in white and green, which all combine and fit in perfectly with the modern, relaxed, chic feel – it is truly amazing. Another fantastic recent addition is the plants – a series of huge grey pots with enormous green leafy plants (I apologies I have no idea of the name) which sit in pristine white pebbles and act to brightened the main entrance and to add some real life to the entire area.
