El hoyo 17 del Teeth of the Dog es uno de los m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de todo el campo, de hecho, de todos los campos de Casa de Campo, especialmente para los golfistas diestros. Muchos de ustedes saben que lograr un par en este hoyo se siente como hacer un birdie, o incluso mejor. Les dar\u00e9 algunos consejos para hacer que este hoyo parezca mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil. Recuerden, el golf es un deporte dif\u00edcil de dominar y mi trabajo es hacerlo m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil y divertido. Lean y relean estos consejos y les garantizo que les ayudar\u00e1n la pr\u00f3xima vez que est\u00e9n en el tee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.) El Drive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

El drive en este hoyo es probablemente uno de los m\u00e1s importantes del d\u00eda, pues es su pen\u00faltimo hoyo y odiar\u00eda dejar caer su juego en el \u00faltimo tramo. Dependiendo desde qu\u00e9 tee est\u00e9 jugando y si sus tiros son largos o no, elegir el palo correct es crucial. Si sus tiros son largos, pero tiene poco contro, guarde el driver. Este no es un hoyo muy largo, as\u00ed que recomiendo jugarlo como un par 5, o dese la oportunidad de hacer par con un hierro largo. Si su tiro es corto pero preciso, entonces s\u00ed use el driver y apunte hacia la casita a la izquierda del green.<\/p>\n\n\n

2.) La confianza lo es todo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Si tiene alguna duda de lo que est\u00e1 haciendo, sea al salir del tee o en el tiro de acercamiento a este estrecho green, PARE y elija una l\u00ednea menos agresiva o tome un palo menor y juegue corto y seguro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.) Conozca su margen de error<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Para los diestros, si su tiro se desv\u00eda un poco hacia la derecha; 1ro, apunte a la izquierda, y 2do, reserve una lecci\u00f3n conmigo luego del juego, estar\u00e9 disponible para corregir eso. Ahora, dejando los chistes a un lado, es vital reconocer su margen de error para poder cuidarse de estas complicadas salidas del tee y tiros de acercamiento al green.<\/p>\n\n\n

4.) Tiro de Acercamiento<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Digamos que le peg\u00f3 de la manera correcta hacia el fairway o hasta justo fuera de \u00e9l. \u00bfQu\u00e9 hace ahora? Hag\u00e1monos dos preguntas bastante simples: A) \u00bfEs mejor quedar a la derecha o a izquierda?\u2026 Obviamente a la izquierda. B) \u00bfEs mejor quedar largo o corto?\u2026 No es obvio, pero es mejor quedar corto. La ventaja de quedar un poco corto y a la izquierda es enorme porque le deja con muchas opciones, pero sobre todo porque su bola estar\u00e1 seca. Otra belleza de quedar corto es que hay un masivo frente falso lo cual permite que se ponga en el green si no es el mejor chipper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.) Putting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Este es uno de los greens m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os y estrechos del Teeth. As\u00ed que obviamente debe tener mucho cuidado, por suerte, s\u00f3lo hay dos \u00e1reas del green que son dif\u00edciles de predecir. La parte delantera del green se inclina mucho hacia el mar y puede resultar impredecible\u2026 Les recomendar\u00eda asumir que hay m\u00e1s inclinaci\u00f3n de lo que parece cuando est\u00e9 a la izquierda del green. La otra parte dif\u00edcil del green es la parte trasera de la derecha, \u00e9sta se inclina desde el mar hacia el hoyo, por lo que hace dif\u00edcil de ver y anticipar el movimiento de la bola.<\/p>\n\n\n
