By now, we\u2019re sure you\u2019ve heard all the buzz relating to the upcoming affair and even received flyers, but if not, here\u2019s an extra reminder for you to mark your calendars and come out to support our local charity.<span id=\"more-161555\"><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the 20th of August, the Fundaci\u00f3n MIR will be celebrating their \u201cFamily Day\u201d, a fundraising event that includes all kinds of fun activities, and all the profits go to the foundation that provides education and other basic necessities to children and families in need here in the Dominican Republic and more specifically in the local La Romana area.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/BDC_6402-1.jpg?resize=1000%2C667&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-214301\" height=\"667\" width=\"1000\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The annual affair is also an excellent opportunity to have a great time with your family and friends in Casa de Campo, where residents, visitors, and villa owners will enjoy a fabulous day of golf, a tennis tournament, and a tennis clinic for kids, as well as the traditional dinner and awards ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The events will kick off the golf tournament at the La Romana Country Club course teeing off at 08:00 a.m,&nbsp; followed by a tennis clinic for kids at La Romana Country Club at 10:00 a.m.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_0272-3.jpg?resize=1000%2C667&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-209782\" height=\"667\" width=\"1000\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The next event won\u2019t take place until 8:00 p.m., where a fancy party with dinner and dancing will be held at Minitas Beach \u2013 the dress code is \u201ctropical chic\u201d, and awards will be given out for the day\u2019s tournament contestants. The dinner is once again being sponsored by the Casa de Campo hotel, so we can expect a magnificent buffet of the finest cuisine the Casa de Campo kitchens have to offer\u2026 and after dinner, you can expect to dance the night away to a Dominican Orchestra band!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fundaci\u00f3n MIR encourages you to&nbsp;<strong>SAVE THE DATE&nbsp; for the 2022 Family Day!&nbsp;<\/strong>Our spirits are high as we look forward to continuing to support the foundation\u2019s work.
