\nUPDATE:<\/strong> The Cafe de la Leche was postponed but now it is back on again and will take place TOMORROW (Friday) the 5th of August!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite living on a Tropical Island it would seem that we are rain-averse after-all. When posed with the question \u201cWant some rain with your coffee\u201d the organizers of this month\u2019s Cafe de la Leche and the hostess Julia Martinez, answered, \u201cEr no thanks\u201d<\/del> \u201cYES please most definitely!\u201d and so this Friday\u2019s Cafe de la Leche has no been postponed and will take place next Friday.<\/del> will go ahead come rain or shine \u2013 don\u2019t forget your umbrellas!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

\nWhere:<\/strong> La Casita Restaurant in the Marina Casa de Campo
\nContribution:<\/strong> The event is free to attend, but attendees are requested to bring a contribution of milk, baby formula or cereals to be donated to the Hogar del Ni\u00f1o<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

About the Cafe de la Leche
\n<\/strong>The Cafe de la Leche is a monthly charitable event, a little like a coffee or a tea party held for the ladies of Casa de Campo (although men are occasionally invited) to boost the milk supplies of the Hogar del Ni\u00f1o in La Romana \u2013 which uses the milk to feed the more than 200 babies cared for daily in it\u2019s crib room. Everyone is welcome to attend this great event, it\u2019s totally free \u2013 you are just requested to bring some dried\/powdered milk, cereals or baby formula to contribute. Each month the event takes place in a different location within the Casa de Campo Resort in La Romana \u2013 usually in the Casa de Campo villas of the Hogar del Ni\u00f1os many supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
