Aguirre is this month coming back to Casa de Campo and La Romana with her company \u2018International Swim and Water Therapy\u2019and will be offering the community of Casa de Campo swimming classes and a variety of innovative water therapies such as&nbsp;WATSU, WATERDANCE &amp; AI CHI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/wp.me\/p1kvEy-8cE\"><strong>Para leer este art\u00edculo en ESPA\u00d1OL, haga click aqu\u00ed!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hortensia has now been working with members of the Casa de Campo and La Romana community for over a year, teaching adults and children how to swim as well as providing water therapies such as Watsu, Waterdance and Ai Chi \u2013 innovative relaxation water techniques, which massage and relax the body in a much more deeply satisfying way than traditional massage whilst at the same time being more gentle.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/casadecampo_internationalswim2.jpg?ssl=1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/casadecampo_internationalswim2.jpg?resize=225%2C129&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27051\" title=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA\" height=\"129\" width=\"225\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Among Hortensia\u2019s Casa de Campo clients is Kyra Montague, who enlisted Hortensia\u2019s expertise to teach her 3 small children how to swim. Kyra was thrilled by the results, saying \u201cHortensia had my children swimming in 3 days \u2013 brilliant. I highly recommend Hortensia, sha has a knack with children and can have them confident in the water in a matter of minutes! She is extremely professional and a fantastic teacher!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another satisfied client of Hortensia is Casa de campo villa owner Jackie Arvelo, who took swimming classes, as well as various water therapies. Jackie was thrilled with the results of her classes and exercises, saying \u201cI learnt to swim much, much better. I gained a profound relaxation with her \u201cholding\u201d therapy. What is Watsu?<br>\n<\/strong>Watsu is an individual therapy, and is the first&nbsp;aquatic&nbsp;massage therapy worldwide. During Watsu therapy, the patient floats in water, supported by the WATSU professional and will be gently slid and stretched. Watsu sessions are received in warm waters of 95 F \/ 35 C so that muscles are fully relaxed and more easily stretched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\":4w9\">\n<div>\n<div><strong>What is Waterdance? <\/strong><br>\nIs an individual therapeutic technique and aquatic massage developed by Arjan Brunschwiler and Aman Schroter in 1987. Waterdance therapy begins with Watsu, but differs in that the patient wears a nose clip, so that he can be brought under the water and begin to travel and fly into a feeling never previously experienced. Waterdance is like being in the womb, suspended in the amniotic fluid. It is one of the most fascinating experiences that an adult can expect to live. Just as in Watsu, water temperature for Waterdance sessions is 95F \/ 35C.<\/div>\n<div><strong>What is Ai Chi?<\/strong><br>\nAi Chi is on the other hand is a therapy that can be worked individually or in groups.
