{"id":320211,"date":"2011-06-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2011-06-27T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/sergio-gobbi-presents-award-for-screenplay-writing-contest\/"},"modified":"2022-11-10T10:48:23","modified_gmt":"2022-11-10T14:48:23","slug":"sergio-gobbi-presents-award-for-screenplay-writing-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/es\/sergio-gobbi-presents-award-for-screenplay-writing-contest\/","title":{"rendered":"Sergio Gobbi Presents Award for Screenplay Writing Contest!"},"content":{"rendered":"\"\"<\/a>\n\nLast Wednesday the 15th of June, Casa de Campo villa owner, film director and president of ‘Les Films De L’Astre’ hosted a prize-giving ceremony for their second annual screen-play writing contest, sponsored by the French Embassy in honor of film critic the late\u00a0Arturo Rodriguez Fernandez.\n\n\"\"<\/a>The presentation was held in the French Embassy in the Dominican Republic’s capital city, Santo Domingo with the presence of the French Ambassador for the Dominican Republic,\u00a0Roland Dubertrand, as well as, well known Casa de Campo community members Sergio Gobbi and his wife, Corinne, Diego Gonzalez, Leo Proa\u00f1o and architect of the Marina Casa de Campo, Gianfranco Fini, who were all involved with the judging and organisation of the contest.\n\nMore than 100 hopeful Dominicans entered the screen-play writing contest, which called for screen-plays of up to 30 pages, which had to have some connection to France and it was Luis Rafael Gonz\u00e1lez who claimed the first prize with his screen-play entitled\u00a0\u201cDioses sin Crep\u00fasculos\u201d, which in English means ‘Gods without twilight.’ During the ceremony Gonzalez was awarded with his prize – US$3,000!\n\nThe other successful finalists were:\u00a0Formerio Rodr\u00edguez (La Negrita y el Gringo), Alejandro And\u00fajar (El Hombre que Cuida), Margarita Cota (El Rinoceronte Rosa), Ra\u00fal Eduardo Yun\u00e9n (Frecuencia Modulada), Julio C\u00e9sar Joaqu\u00edn Collado (Sicario Marica) y Julio Grisanty (Melod\u00eda de Salvaci\u00f3n).\n\nCongratulations to Luis!\n\nHere are my photos from the award ceremony and cocktail:\n\n\n
