At the beginning of March, Jade Franco a volunteer at the Hogar del Ni\u00f1o launched a book drive to gather 300 books to fill the Hogar del Ni\u00f1o\u2019s library. Now more than 2 months later, Jade needs just a few more books to reach here goal! Keep reading to find out how you can help!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Since starting the book drive, Jade has received more than 250 books for the Hogar del Ni\u00f1o from generous donors both from the Dominican Republic and from abroad, so she is a mere 50 books shy of reaching her final goal of 300 books! Jade originally planned to end the drive at the end of April, but has now extended it until the end of May, for the final push to 300 books!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So how can you help?

What kind of books are needed?<\/strong>
\nThe Hogar del Ni\u00f1o cares for children from new born babies up to 18 years old, so they need all types of books in Spanish or bi-lingual Spanish-English!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
