To welcome the start of Spring and the new month of May, \u2018Tres\u2019, a trio of 3 ladies; Amelia Pereya, Sarah Troncoso and Malele Strofer are hosting a Cafe de la Leche charitable evening this coming Friday the 6th of May, from 5pm at the Minitas Beach Apartments#4<\/del> #1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

UPDATE
\n<\/strong><\/span>Despite what the above flyer says, this weeks Cafe de la Leche will be held at Aptos.Minitas Beach #1, NOT #4.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This months three hosts are not only local Casa de Campo ladies, but they also run an events\/party-planning company called \u2018Eventos x3\u2019 and are a very popular choice among Casa de Campo\u2019s party throwers! For instance they planned, decorated and organized the after-party dinner held at the Casa de Campo Yacht Club last month to celebrate the screening of Sergio Gobbi\u2019s lastest movie \u201cAffaires \u00c9trang\u00e8res\u201d<\/a> and the way these ladies transformed the Yacht Club was spectacular.

A party-planning company hosting a Cafe de la Leche? I imagine that means we can expect the very best of everything! I am very much looking forward to it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah Troncoso and Amelia Pereya, played host to a Cafe de La Leche back in September 2009, which featured a small bazaar aspect and was a very pleasant occasion.

The Cafe de la Leche is a monthly charitable event, a little like a coffee or a tea party held for the ladies of Casa de Campo (although men are occasionally invited) to boost the milk supplies of the Hogar del Ni\u00f1o \u2013 which uses the milk to feed the more than 200 babies cared for daily in it\u2019s crib room. Everyone is welcome to attend this great event, it\u2019s totally free \u2013 you are just requested to bring some dried\/powdered milk, cereals or baby formula to contribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Never been to a Cafe de la Leche? Here\u2019s what to expect:<\/strong>
\n1.  A light food buffet
\n2. A selection of drinks\/refreshments
\n3. A nice group of ladies (normally about 50, sometimes more than 100 depending on the season)
\n4. Dress Code: there isn\u2019t a dress code, but as this is Casa de Campo and everyone likes to dress up, you will find people wearing anything from white jeans and a top\/blouse to a pretty day dress and sandals.
\n5. Mosquitos: The Cafe de la Leche takes place from 5pm to 7pm, which is about sunset and so is when there are most mosquitos about\u2026.it\u2019s not a big problem at all, but if like me Mosquitos love to bite you, you might want to have some repellent in your bag!
\n6. Your contribution: \u2018Dried baby milk\u2019 comes in many different brands \u2013 don\u2019t worry about which one you get, all different brands are gladly excepted! Just drop you contribution at the door as you go in \u2013 you won\u2019t be able to miss the pile of milk at the entrance!
\n7. Have a good time \u2013 even if you don\u2019t know anyone, everyone is very friendly and people generally speak a range of different languages!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
