Whilst ladies will have the opportunity to shop all weekend, the annual Ladies Luncheon will take place from 1.30pm on the Saturday, also at the La Romana Country Club and will feature a fashion show by Sissy Bermudez, called \u2018Collecion Sabor a Mi Tierra\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/sugar-open-2010-ladies-luncheon-and-mir-bazaar-at-the-la-romana-country-club\/\">[To read about and see photos of last year\u2019s MIR Bazaar and Ladies Luncheon, click here.] <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It sounds like it will be a good time \u2013 so <strong>SAVE THE DATE! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the MIR Bazaar<br>\n<\/strong>The MIR Bazaar and the Ladies Luncheon is an important part of the Sugar Golf tournament \u2013 not just because it keeps the ladies entertained, but also because a percentage of all sales made during the bazaar are donated to the Fundacion MIR. The Fundacion MIR is a non-profit organization which works to provide eduction and health services to the children and people of La Romana most in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Sugar Open Golf Tournament<\/strong><br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2009\/04\/the-sugar-open-2009-opening-cocktails-at-the-victory-club\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">The Sugar Golf Tournamen<\/a>t, originally just another golf tournament, was won in 1990 by Alfie Fanjul, who subsequently donated his winnings to his sister, Lian Fanjul de Azqueta to use as seed money to found Casa de Paz.
