Following a break of a few months, due to a lack of suitable photos here we once again bring you photos and stories of things that are \u2018Only in the DR.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We love living in this unique country with its fascinating traditions, rules and customs, I love the culture, I equally love and hate the \u2018Dominican\u2019 language, which is at times so hard to understand, I am hugely frustrated by the concept of \u2018Dominican Time\u2019 and most of all I love the friendly smiling people \u2013 all these things are what makes the Dominican Republic such an interesting and wonderful place to live! These \u2018Only in the DR\u2019 posts are meant as a light-hearted laugh at all the eccentricities of the Dominican Republic and its people \u2013 I hope you enjoy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n This lady (a shop manequin) and the perfect replica of a woman with a MASSIVE boob job was hanging out with a group of equally voluptous and dare I say \u2013 \u2018slutty\u2019 friends in \u2018Orense\u2019 \u2013 the perfect place to buy all kinds of useless (and pretty cheap items), as well as ogle the manequins!<\/p>
