With just 2 days to go before the Teatro de la Comunidad (this Saturday!) we are very excited to announce 3 acts being presented by the Centro Dance Point\u00e9 School of Dance in La Romana.  The Teatro de la Comunidad is THIS Saturday the 4th of December in the Altos de Chav\u00f3n Amphitheatre at 7pm<\/a> and is a talent show with many different acts by groups, schools and individuals from the La Romana area, ticket sales are raising money for the different La Romana charities involved, so come along and support our show!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The \u2018Point\u00e9 Centro de Danzas\u2019 <\/a> is a newly renovated dance studio in La Romana on the Calle Francisco Richiez and they will be presenting 2 acts \u2013 a Belly Dance, a Salsa Show AND a Flamenco Show!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Point\u00e9 Centro de Danzas<\/a>: <\/strong>\u2018Danza Arabe\u2019<\/strong> (belly dance)
\nThis sensual and exotic dance is being led by dance teacher Paola Ram\u00edrez, who will be performing along side the girls in her class; Lisselotte Rijo, Irisneyda Almodovar, Carla Calder\u00f3n, Ana Cristina Castillo and Emma Rosenthal (pictured above). The name of the dance is \u2018Raks Sari\u2019 and you can be sure we\u2019re in for quiet a spectacle with this one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Point\u00e9 Centro de Danzas<\/a>: Salsa Show Extravaganza!<\/strong>
\nThis Salsa presentation is called the \u2018Casanova y Bandolera\u2019 and is a stunning salsa remix\/medley with the songs \u2018Que Bueno Baila Usted,\u2019 \u2018Meneando la Cola\u2019 and \u2018Bandolera\u2019 and will be performed by the Centro Point\u00e9\u2019s dance teachers Felix \u201cArmando\u201d Amayo and Paola Ramirez.<\/p>\n\n\n

Point\u00e9 Centro de Danzas:<\/a><\/strong> Flashy Flamenco!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part time Casa de Campo resident and wonderful person \u2013 Fatima Renado will be performing a solo Flamenco dance! Fatima (pictured above with the Salsa teacher Armando) will thrill us with her Flamenco skills in full traditional Flamenco costume!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fatima is from Spain (the home of Flamenco) and so who better to demonstrate the beauty of this dance?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
