{"id":319517,"date":"2010-12-02T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2010-12-02T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/adventures-in-the-casa-my-tv-debut-with-agustin\/"},"modified":"2022-10-21T17:59:09","modified_gmt":"2022-10-21T21:59:09","slug":"adventures-in-the-casa-my-tv-debut-with-agustin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/es\/adventures-in-the-casa-my-tv-debut-with-agustin\/","title":{"rendered":"Adventures in the Casa: My TV debut with Agustin!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/agustinentv_rebecca_hughes.jpg?ssl=1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/agustinentv_rebecca_hughes.jpg?resize=565%2C318&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23119\" title=\"agustinentv_rebecca_hughes\" height=\"318\" width=\"565\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>I am not shy and nor am I afraid of the limelight \u2013 in fact I\u2019m sure most people would agree that I rather like to be the centre of attention, but back in April when Agustin, from Agustin en TV asked to interview me (without any prior warning) for his TV show \u2013 I wasn\u2019t exactly hesitant, but I was a little afraid!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/agustinentv_rebecca_hughes1.jpg?ssl=1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/agustinentv_rebecca_hughes1.jpg?resize=233%2C287&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23120\" title=\"agustinentv_rebecca_hughes\" height=\"287\" width=\"233\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The interview took place during our <a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/noche-dominicana-costume-contest-and-more-photos\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018Noche Dominicana\u2019 event, on April the 21st&nbsp;&nbsp;in the Marina Casa de Campo<\/a> \u2013 a celebration of all things Dominican, with Dominican music, food, dancing and fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being the organiser of the event, the photographer, hostess and general \u2018jefa\u2019 I was understandably a little stressed, sweaty and certainly not looking my best for the interview, but heck \u2013 who would turn down a chance to get on Dominican TV for the lack of a little make-up, some normal clothes and nice hair \u2013 not me!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not to mention the fact that the interview was in Spanish \u2013 which back in April was not exactly perfect! But regardless of everything I\u2019m nevertheless rather proud of the interview \u2013 for the most part you can understand what I\u2019m saying and even though I don\u2019t exactly look glamourous, at least I look pretty!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So here I am, I recommend you watch it all \u2013 there are some rather comical bits and the end is hilarious (and rather embarrassing)\u2026\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><object style=\"height: 341.25px; width: 560px;\" classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" <a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/miss-mundo-dominicana-comes-to-ccls-noche-dominicana\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018Noche Dominicana\u2019 event was \u2018Miss Mundo Dominicana\u2019 Ana Rita Contreras <\/a>who was a special guest at the event \u2013 who pleased the crowds with her beautiful smile and was only too happy to pose and have her photo taken with all
