This year\u2019s legendary \u2018Magical Splendor for Life\u2019 <\/a>weekend, in aid of the Fundacion MIR <\/a>will take place from the 21st to the 23rd of January, here we are able to reveal of preview of all the exciting, prestigious and luxurious events and activities taking place over that weekend\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

As always the highlight of the weekend will the the \u2018Magical Splendor for Life\u2019 dinner\/dance and fashion show. This year Badgley Mischka will be showcasing their their 2011 collection and there will of course be \u2018Tiffany and Co. mystery blue boxes.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Badgley Mischka
\n<\/strong><\/p>

Badgley Mischka<\/strong> is an American fashion label designed by Mark Badgley and James Mischka. Badgley and Mischka met at Parsons<\/a> and found a common vision. The two launched the label Badgley Mischka in 1988, though their bridal business launched in 1993. Badgley and Mischka are partners in life and business.[1]<\/a> Their clothes have been worn by many celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey<\/a>, Melissa Etheridge<\/a>, and Tammy Lynn Michaels<\/a>.<\/p>

Badgley Mischka\u2019s looks are described as \u201cred-carpet-destined evening wear\u201d but generally produced with lighter fabrics and less construction. They are also known for fragrance, handbags, shoes and eyewear.<\/p>

\nThe Fundacion MIR (Mission International Rescue)<\/a> is a non-profit organization that works to supply the Dominican Republic\u2019s most marginalized people with a variety of life-altering services. Since 1990, we have served the women, youth and children of La Romana and the Eastern region of the Dominican Republic by partnering with and providing funding for social programs. With the help of benefactors and individual contributions, the programs provide a home, medical assistance, education and technical preparation for the people that are most in need in our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
