\"miradas_escrutadoras_altos_de_chavon_art_gallery\"<\/a><\/p>\n\nOn Thursday the 8th of September the Altos de Chavon Cultural Center Foundation celebrated the inauguration of their new art exhibit \u2018Miradas Escrutadoras.\u2019The exhibiting artist, Mois\u00e9s Castillo, was present at the inauguration event, proudly showing off his artistic creations, chatting to the vistors and explaining his thoughts and feelings behind each painting. The exhibit is a collection of 20 oil paintings, all abstract paintings of faces or rather ‘looks’ as the exhibit is called \u00a0\u201cMIRADAS ESCRUTADORAS\u201d which in English means \u201cSCRUTINIZING LOOKS.\u201d\n\nAs always an interesting and varied crowd gathered to see the new exhibit and enjoy the inauguration cocktails, residents and villa owners of Casa de Campo mingled with the students of the Altos de Chav\u00f3n Art and Design school<\/a> and a group of teachers from the Abraham Lincoln School.<\/a>\n\nThe following photos were sent to us by Martha, from the Altos de Chavon art gallery – thanks Martha!\n\n\n
