As I spent the entire day taking photos of everything and everyone, in this article I bring you photos and the results of the golf tournament. \n\nThe following is a summary of the tournament and the results, sent to us from Dave Pfisterer, Casa de Campo’s Head Golf Professional: <\/a>\n
Saturday, August 14, 2010 – MIR Foundation Golf Tournament at La Romana Country Club. This year’s tournament was played on a course composed of the front 9 at Dye Fore and the East 9 at LRCC. Despite a forecast that called for rain showers, 101 players teed off, competing in an individual stableford format. After an early shower, the sky cleared and the players were able to finish without any further delay.\n\nLadies Division:<\/span><\/strong>\n Winner: <\/strong>Tatiana Sourtmatch – 47 pts.\n Runner-up:<\/strong> Mari Ledesma – 37 pts.\n Gross Winner: <\/strong>Maure Croze – 23 pts.\n\nMen’s Division:<\/strong><\/span>\n Winner: <\/strong>Guillermo Quirch – 46 pts.\n Runner-up: <\/strong>Guiseppe Gandolfo – 44 pts.\n 3rd Place: <\/strong>Juan Donesteves – 42 pts.\nGross Winner:<\/strong> Guillermo Quirch, IV – 37 pts.\n\nThank you all for playing and supporting such a worthwhile cause.<\/blockquote>\n\n
