Derek<\/p><wp-block data-block=\"core\/more\"><\/wp-block><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every Friday La Romana had a street market where wayfaring vendors sold their products in the streets near downtown.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><a man who brought only a dozen heads of garlic to the market.&nbsp;&nbsp;He displayed the garlics on a small white cloth on the sidewalk.&nbsp;Although he did not have much to sell, he seemed to enjoy
