Many people in Casa liked to walk for exercise.  There were no walking paths, so everyone who walked, walked on the golf courses.   I often encountered Henry Kissinger with his family and entourage walking on the Teeth of the Dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/memories-of-casa-de-campo-the-skies-of-casa-de-campo\/00-daisy-and-sea-spray-casa-de-campo-living\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15350\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/00-Daisy-and-Sea-Spray-casa-de-campo-living.jpg?resize=575%2C432&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"00 Daisy and Sea Spray - casa de campo living\" class=\"wp-image-15350\" title=\"00 Daisy and Sea Spray - casa de campo living\" height=\"432\" width=\"575\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sitting on the edge of the Teeth of the Dog, you can see the colorful fish in the sea, the birds hunting for fish, beautiful water patterns in turquoise, and weather systems coming in from the horizon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/memories-of-casa-de-campo-the-skies-of-casa-de-campo\/04-sea-water-patterns-casa-de-campo-living\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15353\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/04-sea-water-patterns-casa-de-campo-living.jpg?resize=575%2C384&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"04 sea water patterns- casa de campo living\" class=\"wp-image-15353\" title=\"04 sea water patterns- casa de campo living\" height=\"384\" width=\"575\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One morning while walking along the edge of the Teeth of the Dog, I saw a huge cloud on the horizon, heading towards us at a fast pace.  I waited and soon the cloud was all over the course and had turned the Teeth of the Dog into a mysterious place of fog and mist.   In a few minutes it had passed on and everything was bright and clear again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/02-heron-bird-casa-de-campo-living.jpg?resize=575%2C254&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"02 heron bird - casa de campo living\" class=\"wp-image-15351\" title=\"02 heron bird - casa de campo living\" height=\"254\" width=\"575\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Almost every day there is a time when large cumulus clouds float by in the blue sky.  They form themselves into fantastic shapes: a lion chasing a gazelle, a king sitting on his throne,  a chariot race across the sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/memories-of-casa-de-campo-the-skies-of-casa-de-campo\/05-clouds-floating-by-casa-casa-de-campo-living\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15354\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/05-clouds-floating-by-Casa-casa-de-campo-living.jpg?resize=575%2C386&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"05 clouds floating by Casa - casa de campo living\" class=\"wp-image-15354\" title=\"05 clouds floating by Casa - casa de campo living\" height=\"386\" width=\"575\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/memories-of-casa-de-campo-the-skies-of-casa-de-campo\/06-rum-and-clouds-casa-de-campo-living\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15355\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/06-rum-and-clouds-casa-de-campo-living-153x300-2.jpg?resize=153%2C300&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"06 rum and clouds - casa de campo living\" class=\"wp-image-15355\" title=\"06 rum and clouds - casa de campo living\" height=\"300\" width=\"153\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even our bottle of rum has clouds reflected in it.<br>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One day we were sitting poolside in the sun and noticed a black cloud on the horizon.  Usually black clouds indicate a disturbed and unstable condition.  This one moved towards Casa very quickly and in a few minutes the bright blue sky had turned to black.  It was a violent squall which slammed doors shut and broke branches.  Then it was gone as fast as it had come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/memories-of-casa-de-campo-the-skies-of-casa-de-campo\/07-serious-cloud-over-casa-casa-de-campo-living\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15356\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/07-serious-cloud-over-Casa-casa-de-campo-living.jpg?resize=575%2C374&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"07 serious cloud over Casa - casa de campo living\" class=\"wp-image-15356\" title=\"07 serious cloud over Casa - casa de campo living\" height=\"374\" width=\"575\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyday, nature presented something different.  Usually the weather in Casa is perfect with bright blue skies and lovely white clouds passing overhead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/memories-of-casa-de-campo-the-skies-of-casa-de-campo\/08-perfect-casa-weather-casa-de-campo-living\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15357\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/08-perfect-Casa-weather-casa-de-campo-living.jpg?resize=575%2C367&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"08 perfect Casa weather - casa de campo living\" class=\"wp-image-15357\" title=\"08 perfect Casa weather - casa de campo living\" height=\"367\" width=\"575\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But once in a while everything in the atmosphere turns a greenish color, and this means there may be a storm nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/memories-of-casa-de-campo-the-skies-of-casa-de-campo\/09-green-lake-casa-de-campo-living\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15358\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/09-green-lake-casa-de-campo-living.jpg?resize=575%2C365&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"09 green lake - casa de campo living\" class=\"wp-image-15358\" title=\"09 green lake - casa de campo living\" height=\"365\" width=\"575\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People say that the most serious weather comes in from the south, so don\u2019t worry too much if it\u2019s coming from the north or the east.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/memories-of-casa-de-campo-the-skies-of-casa-de-campo\/10-green-golf-course-casa-de-campo-living\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15359\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/10-green-golf-course-casa-de-campo-living.jpg?resize=575%2C364&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"10 green golf course - casa de campo living\" class=\"wp-image-15359\" title=\"10 green golf course - casa de campo living\" height=\"364\" width=\"575\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes the sky is clear and the sun is shining, while at the same time, rain is falling.  When this occurs, people say, \u201cThe witches are fighting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/04\/memories-of-casa-de-campo-the-skies-of-casa-de-campo\/11-sunset-casa-de-campo-living\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-15360\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
