In this photo essay, we bring you photos of \u2018classic\u2019 palmilla scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Gathering a.k.a the Yacht-lot<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-weight: normal; -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: none; \">Whether it\u2019s a long weekend or a special holiday, there is always one scene you\u2019re guaranteed to see on a busy Palmilla day and that\u2019s the \u2018Yacht-lot.\u2019 The \u2018Yacht-lot\u2019 is the when all the yachts try to fit together to create a circle or central party area between all the yachts \u2013 people will spend literally a half hour trying to park their vessel, so that they\u2019re in the midst of the action \u2013 being on the outside will simply not do!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/07\/photo-essay-classic-palmilla\/dsc09321\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13782\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DSC09321.jpg?resize=575%2C431&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC09321\" class=\"wp-image-13782\" title=\"DSC09321\" height=\"431\" width=\"575\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sea-Noodles and floaters \u2013 the manly way to drink champagne<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Being at Palmilla is like being in one enormous party area, the yachts are the VIP areas and if you want to move around, socialise, meet people, the best and easiest way is to use a noodle or float \u2013 the only way to swim and still drink champagne.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2010\/07\/photo-essay-classic-palmilla\/dsc09282\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13784\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DSC09282.jpg?resize=575%2C431&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC09282\" class=\"wp-image-13784\" title=\"DSC09282\" height=\"431\" width=\"575\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Palmilla Chofer <\/span><\/strong><br>\nPalmilla, just like everywhere else in Casa de Campo is \u2018the place to be seen\u2019 which if you\u2019re a woman means you\u2019re probably wearing your best, most expensive sunglasses, bikini, full make-up and if it\u2019s a very important occasion (like New Year\u2019s) freshly done&nbsp;hair \u2013 so actually getting in the sea is simply not an option.
