Now please feel free to correct me if I\u2019m wrong but surely, surely this is against at least 1 kind of road law, if not several?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before I came to the Dominican Republic and was introduced to the perils of the Dominican roads, I understood that cars, lorries, motorbikes etc were the kind of vehicles you would typically find on the road. Since I have been here I have seen golf carts rocking around La Romana (not advisable), a part-car being dragged by a donkey (a missed camera opportunity) and now this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can actually understand the donkey\/horse contraptions \u2013 there are many many poor people here, who (very cleverly) have created their own transport, I commend these people who make the most of what they have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HOWEVER, the buggy in this photo seems to be more of a big boy\u2019s toy \u2013 I can only imagine he thought he would look cool!
