Teaming with my lovely new wife, Maite, as the new two-headed<a href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2009\/11\/welcome-maite-and-josh-casa-de-campos-new-golf-professionals\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"> Head Golf Professional,<\/a> I have thoroughly enjoyed my first handful of weeks getting to know the staff, Casa de Campo residents and resort guests. <\/span><wp-block data-block=\"core\/more\"><\/wp-block><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><br>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">More than just a golf professional I am also a bit of a golf course aficionado<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">,<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> so the chance to hit the links for a quick nine after golf offi<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">ce duties is a job benefit here that makes a 401K look like getting half price fries for working the drive-thru at McDonald\u2019s<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><br>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/casadecampoliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/h_golf_dyefore-300x148-2.jpg?resize=300%2C148&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"h_golf_dyefore\" class=\"wp-image-2951\" title=\"h_golf_dyefore\" height=\"148\" width=\"300\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-2951\" href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2009\/03\/usa-todays-the-golfers-world-ranks-the-dye-fore-as-the-only-course-worth-the-trip-in-the-dominican-republic\/h_golf_dyefore-2\/\">Having the opportunity to play such fine courses as The Links, Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, and the front nine at La Romana CC (I have yet to make it to the 10<\/a><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-2951\" href=\"https:\/\/casadecampoliving.com\/2009\/03\/usa-todays-the-golfers-world-ranks-the-dye-fore-as-the-only-course-worth-the-trip-in-the-dominican-republic\/h_golf_dyefore-2\/\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><sup><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> tee box at LRCC due to a heavy handed barkeep at the 19<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><sup><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> hole bar) and the yet to be named new nine holes, it has dawned on me that a good spirited \u201cbattle of the best holes<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> at Casa de Campo<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u201d might be a fun article to experiment with.&nbsp; I have spent a good amount of time now playing golf, taking dinners, and consuming adult beverages with <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">locals whose golf IQs measure above the FM dial<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">.&nbsp; If you polled ten different golfers, you might get ten different <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Estrangelo Edessa';\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">opinions.&nbsp; I get that.&nbsp;
