The streets are for the Diablos <\/em>NOT the civilians! The Carnaval Vegano is considered by many as the best in the country and if you haven’t been you definitely must experience it at least once!\n\nThe streets are filled with people partying and enjoying themselves while also admiring the beautifuls costumes from the hundreds of Diablo Cojuelos <\/em>that parade along the streets of La Vega.\u00a0\n\nThese elaborate costumes are simply a work of art and can cost up to RD$50,000 to manufacture. We have included some pictures that our team took this last Sunday as well as a video from the official Carnaval Vegano<\/a> website. The Diablos Cojuelos <\/em>will hit the streets of La Vega one last time this February 27th, Independence Day, but don’t worry… you will be able to see at least some of them in this year’s La Romana Carnival which is scheduled some time in March. As soon as we receive confirmation on the dates we will make sure to let you know.\n\nIn the mean time enjoy the pictures and the video below!\n
