Eating legumes and foods high in bran such as peanuts and peas can help not only protect but also repair cells that have been damaged by the sun, thanks to two antioxidants found in these foods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>A study at the University of Maryland found that mice treated with these antioxidants were less likely to develop tumors after being exposed to UV rays. &nbsp;Just another reason to add some high fiber foods to your diet, try switching your regular cereal for bran cereal a few times a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another trick I\u2019ve found to be true is saturating your body with Omega 3 fatty acids, try taking 3 tablets 3 times a day, I have found it to significantly cut down on sunburns even on the days you find yourself at the beach and out of sunscreen. Not only will you keep yourself from getting sunburned but also help reduce your chance of other cancers by reducing your body\u2019s levels of inflammation.
