Looks like the first weekend of 2009, which also happens to be the first long weekend of the year, is going to be a quiet\u2026 I\u2019m not sure about you but after walking out from the Palapa at 6:30 am yesterday I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend\u2026 and it seems like every event organizer is in the same boat since there are no formal events planned for this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However we do have a couple recommendations! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
*Sangria Tapas Bar & Lounge<\/i><\/b> in Altos de Chavon \u2013 If you haven\u2019t been there yet this is the perfect weekend to come and check the out the new spot in Altos de Chavon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
*Victroy Club<\/i><\/b> \u2013 The Victory Club with its new look and deck is the obvious choice for anyone who prefers the scene at the Marina. Plus you really cannot beat the sunsets this time of the year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
*Movies<\/b> <\/i>\u2013 Caribbean Cinemas at the Marina<\/i> is always a great option to complement a relaxing weekend. Take a look at the movie times and trailers in our movie widget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beyond Casa<\/b>
\nThis week we do have an event beyond the gates of Casa de Campo and that is another exciting game at the Francisco Micheli Stadium! Our Toros del Este face off against the Aguilas Cibae\u00f1as<\/i> this Saturday 3 at 7:30pm. <\/b>Tickets go on sale at 1pm on game day at the stadium\u2019s box office\u2026 make sure to go early since games are selling out very quickly!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
