I do not believe that there is a single place that I personally have been anticipating more than Melissa\u2019s Pastry Boutique, for the simple fact that the concept will be a first in Altos de Chavon, the Marina \u2013 all of Casa de Campo in fact. And one whose time has defiantly arrived.<span style=\"font-family: inherit;\"><br>\n<\/span><\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit;\">First off, let me just say that contrary to what you may believe, I do not in fact have a sweet tooth. Rather, I have a tremendous craving for a place that I can go in the mornings and get the following:<\/span><br>\n<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\">&nbsp;\u2013 A good \/ fresh croissant<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\">&nbsp;\u2013 A good cup of coffee, italian or Dominican<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\">&nbsp;\u2013 Good service<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\">&nbsp;\u2013 Peace and quiet<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\">&nbsp;\u2013 WiFi<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> <\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_DdCmL2nv294\/STlp2_DusqI\/AAAAAAAAAWY\/cqXTVoJDyMs\/s1600-h\/croissant.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_DdCmL2nv294\/STlp2_DusqI\/AAAAAAAAAWY\/cqXTVoJDyMs\/s200\/croissant.jpg\"><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit;\">Don\u2019t get me wrong, there are pleanty of places where one can go to tool&nbsp;around&nbsp;on the internet while having a bit or a drink, Block &amp; Barrel for example is also a great place \u2013 but in the mornings, there is nothing like a nice fresh croissant and a cup of joe. So here I am day dreaming about these things \u2013 anticipating the grand opening of Melissa\u2019s Pastry Boutique next week\u2026. I hope.<\/span><br>\n<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\">Of course, a nice gourmet sandwich, on fresh bread and croissants is also welcome as a light and healthy option for lunch! &nbsp;Some of the items I\u2019ve heard about so far seem just too good to be true! <\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the meantime, if I really want this experience I guess there is always Trigo de Oro in town\u2026. but its just so far\u2026 and I\u2019m far too lazy. Please Melissa \u2013 open up soon!
