Nobody likes to talk about it I know, but its a reality of life, especially when living in the Caribbean, hurricanes blow. And boy can the blow hard. Typically the Dominican Republic does not get hit directly, and when it does, a very low percentage of the time is it in the South east coast. That being said, everyone still gets a little jumpy thing back to George. Ouch. But more about George some other time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right now we are a little too busy to be thinking about the past. We\u2019ve yet to meet Ike, Josephine, Kyle, Laura, Marco, Nana, Omar, Paloma, Rene, Sally, Teddy, Vicky, Wilfred and possibly others. While I doubt (and really really hope) that we will see any action this year, I do hope that we will all remember to stay alert and prepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, it seems like its going to be a bit stressful this year but by keeping up to date on whats going on, we can keep abreast of what is happening and what (if anything) might be coming our way.
