Zumba, Casa de Campo’s new health and fitness obsession was included in the line-up of events and activities for the Hogar del Niño fundraising weekend for the first time this year – and given it’s overwhelming popularity we can expect it to become a regular addition!
The zumba master class took place at 4pm in the afternoon on Saturday the 18th of February – in the midst of the numerous other events and activities taking place as part of this fun-filled fundraising weekend. And so whilst other Casa de Campo villa owners were making their way around the La Romana Country Club, the the Zumba Master Class attracted quiet a crowd of lycra-clad, booty-shaking ladies…..and yes the music and motivational whoops could be heard echoing around the golf course!
The lead instructor of the Zumba Master Class was Fefi Salvatierra, who runs a regular zumba class on Wednesdays at Café Juanita and was joined by 2 additional instructors – Daniela Diazgranados and Lia Matos – who kept the energy high, shaking it out on stage for almost 2 hours!
