Casa de Campo Resort

Youth can learn to shoot at the resort’s Junior Shooting Academy

Shooting Center

If you haven’t been to Casa de Campo’s Shooting Center now’s the time. Considering the number of successful activities this year, including a spring cocktail for villa owners and the events surrounding the 30th annual Sugar Shooting Tournament, it’s about time you became acquainted with one of the resort’s coolest activities. Run by Director Gary Salmon (find our interview with him in our latest issue of CasaLife magazine!), the center’s first class facilities are worth exploring. Plus, kids have the opportunity to develop their marksmanship and shooting disciplines in the Junior Shooting Academy.

The Junior Shooting Academy has extended its afternoon offerings to run from September 5th – December 2017, and kids from 7-17 years old can participate in trap, skeet, and sporting clays. Younger children may also be allowed in, following a brief meeting. Across the center’s 245 acres, junior shooters can practice every Monday from 3:30p.m. – 4:30 p.m. The sessions are just US$70 per month; see the flyer below to sign up!
