Semana Santa is here! And per usual Casa style there are events and activities for everyone to enjoy the weekend to the fullest! We have broken down the weekend for you, with each days events to make sure you truly live up this holy week!

Starting Thursday, there are excursions outside of Casa de Campo, activities at Playa Minitas, tournaments at Bonche for Teens, and an Art Exhibition! The first excursion explores Cueva de las Maravillas, a national park just outside of La Romana filled with Taino hieroglyphics and history. The museum-like caves are fun for all ages! (Bookings available throughout the weekend!)

If an action packed adventure is more your speed than look no further than Cumayasa adventure park! Book a Buggie adventure excursion and explore the island from behind the wheel! Not in the mood to drive but still want the adrenaline rush? Cumayasa zipline is for you! Fly through the sky and admire the beauty of the island from a perspective like never before! Want to explore the seas? Try the Marinarium excursion and swim with stingrays and nurse sharks in an enclosed marine environment just outside of Casa de Campo. (Bookings available throughout the weekend!)

Prefer to stay inside of Casa? Playa Minitas will be hosting water games and limbo at La Palapa, Bachata and Merengue lessons, and a darts competition! Enjoy the breeze off the waterfront, dance with your toes in the sand, meet new friends, and catch a tan all while learning something new!

Later that afternoon, Bonche for Teens will be hosting a Basketball tournament as well as a Billiards tournament keeping the friendly competition alive and fun! All of these activities, and we’re only on Thursday!

Friday, the day kicks off with an Easter brunch at Lago Restaurant followed by the Easter Mini Olympics at Playa Minitas. In the mood for an adventure? Then Kayak Adventure River Chavón is the perfect Friday morning activity for you! With the choice of single or double kayaks, explore Chavón river like never before!

Friday afternoon, the Polo Gold Cup Finals will be held at the Polo Fields from 2pm-7pm with an after polo party! You won’t want to miss out on the action packed fun! But if you’re not feeling like Polo, no worries! Friday afternoon at Playa Minitas there will be a Ping Pong tournament and Volleyball tournament! Enjoy fun in the sun with some friendly competition!

Saturday kicks off with Easter Egg decorating at Playa Minitas! Get in the holiday spirit and in touch with your creative side starting at 11AM! That afternoon, the beach is hosting family Bingo and a fútbol tournament. La Palapa will be keeping your family busy this Easter holiday! Bonche for Teens will be hosting a domino’s tournament and another billiards tournament to keep the kids busy!

Saturday night, Wisin y Yandel will be taking over Altos de Chavón with their first joint concert in 5 years at the amphitheater! Hurry and buy your tickets because they’re almost sold out! The iconic duo, known as “los lideres”, have been doing their own thing for the last few years, and have decided to come back together for the first time on our stage in CdC. The concert starts at 9PM and is definitely one you don’t want to miss! Not in the mood for reggaeton? La Caña restaurant and lounge will have live music Saturday from 8PM-12AM.

Sunday morning, Playa Minitas will have an Easter egg hunt along the beach starting at 11AM! Enjoy the view, the breeze, and the sun as the children run around in search for eggs filled with treats and goodies! Later that afternoon, La Palapa will be teaching Bachata and Merengue again, sending the weekend off with lively fun!

Bonche for Teens will also have a video game competition, domino’s tournament, and ping pong tournament, keeping the kids busy!

There will also be an art exhibition, SEN2 FIGUEROA, open all weekend long from 2PM to 9:30PM at Paseo de Mar #6, La Marina! Check out our article for more information on graffiti artist Sandro Figueroa García!
