Genesis has had back to back full weekends. First, with the Bob Marley tribute by the hit reggae band CanaBeat, followed by LASH performing the official concert afterparty for the J. Balvin and Zion & Lennox concert. This weekend, Genesis brought back the incredible trio formed by Luichi Guzman, David Vasquez, and Luini Quezada for an amazing tribute concert to The Police!
The tribute did not disappoint! The trio arrived early on Saturday to rehearse and bring the public the best show ever. As soon as the doors opened we were able to see how the community came in to support the event. Everybody sang and danced along to The Police’s famous songs like “Every step you take”, “Roxanne”, “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic”, “Don’t stand so close to me” and the list goes on and on. They were absolutely amazing!!
We are sure you have seen them before, not only here in Casa de Campo…Luichy Guzman is a composer of music for film, TV and commercials. He composed the musical scores for the movie, “Quiero ser fiel”; along with his wife, Carolina Rivas (well known theater actress) he produced the musicals “Les Miserables” in 2008 and “Rent” in 2011, and has worked with Pavel Nunez. David Vasquez is a renowned bass player who has worked with Pavel Nunez, Juan Luis Guerra, Maridalia Hernandez, and many more. During his earlier years, he also worked with Isaac Savinon, which most of you might know as “Panky” in a group named “Los Manolos”. Luini Quezada is an amazing drummer who has also played with numerous bands and has a long history of performing tributes along with Luichy and David.
These talented artists previously performed the tribute to Soda Stereo in Genesis, and we can’t wait to see them again in their next concert at Genesis on July 16th when they come together to play “U2” hit songs! These events are part of the concert/party series that Genesis Nightclub has prepared and have proven to be successful indeed. If you haven’t been to one yet, you’re in luck as Genesis has many more planned throughout the coming months! This weekend prepare for a live concert with the one and only Tono Rosario, and stay tuned for more announcements as Genesis keeps bringing amazing concerts our way!

Genesis does it again! Excellent Bob Marley Tribute with CanaBeat
Last Saturday was full of events, just prior to heading to our favorite Altos de Chavón nightclub on June 18th, we heard from none other than Carlos Sánchez in his comedy tour at Onno’s. CanaBeat, the new beat in Punta Cana, performed a special Bob Marley Tribute in Genesis Nightclub on June 18th.
