Following the recent success of Flavors of the World Bolivia, the resort has already announced its next chef and destination! Back for the second year in a row, prepare yourself for Flavors of the World Argentina with Chef Fernando Rivarola in just 10 days!!!

Chef Fernando Rivarola trained in the city of Mar del Plata at ISAC (the Superior Institute of Culinary Arts) before joining the Hotel Gran Lujo Costa Galana and then working in numerous establishments in Italy and Spain. 10 years ago, Fernando Rivarola arrived in Buenos Aires with El Baqueano – in his website he is described as “a man who occasionally seeks, tracks, accompanies, knows, understands and blends with the earth … Eat, feed, respect the earth” – after having worked in Europe for several years. Nowadays, at El Baqueano they make contemporary autochthonous cuisine, working with products from the different regions of Argentina with contemporary techniques learned in Europe. His talent has earned him 19th place on the list of Latin America’s 50 Best restaurants 2017.

Last year La Piazzetta hosted the three days of authentic Argentinian gastronomy brought to the resort by Chef Fernando Rivarola true to his El Baqueano in Buenos Aires. Chef Fernando delighted us with a seven-course dinner that included one of El Baqueano’s popular dish, the Beef Crudo, Quinoa, and Amaranth, and despite the petite proportion was extremely filling and satisfying with three types of quinoa. A favorite of the evening was the Lamb “Garron” that was roasted for 20 hours! We can’t wait to see what he has prepared for us this edition!

This Flavors of the World is one you will not want to miss! On August 3rd and 4th there will be a ‘Four hands dinner’ with Chef Fernando Rivarola and Chef Anthony Masas and on Sunday, the 5th, there will be a brunch, all taking place at the newly renovated Minitas Beach Club!
