Gladys Quiñones, Founder and President of Eventos y Catering, will host the next Café de la Leche at La Enoteca for an afternoon of catching up and collecting milk and cereal for the Hogar del Niño.

Cafe de la Leche Septiembre 2014-01

For Gladys, this is a very important cause and it means a lot more than what some may think. “I think that it’s the responsibility of every Casa de Campo villa owner to contribute to this type of projects, we have received so much in our lives, we should share what we have and the Café de la Leche is an opportunity to not only spend a beautiful afternoon together, but to remind ourselves that we are thinking and building a future for the children of our community.”

As said by Gladys, at this version of the Café de la Leche, you can expect “a gathering between friends, when everyone can enjoy hearing about everyone else’s vacation adventures, and also snacks and special drinks in a cozy, nautical environment and a surprise – which you can try and figure out!” How mysterious! Well I guess we will just have to wait and see to find out what that means!

The gathering is being sponsored by Events y Catering, Gladys’ event planning and catering business, as well as Punto y Corcho – otherwise known as La Enoteca, the wine bar in the Marina Casa de Campo.

About the Café de la Leche

Café de la Leche Xiomara Matos

The Cafe de la Leche is a monthly charitable event, a little like a coffee or a tea party held for the ladies of Casa de Campo (although men are occasionally invited) and usually takes place on the first Friday of the month, hosted by a member of the Casa de Campo villa at her Casa de Campo villa or occasionally restaurant/business.
