kite flying Altos de ChavonThe Altos de Chavon Regional Museum of Archaeology cordially invites all children to participate in their afternoon of “Dominican Traditional Games” in the Altos de Chavón gardens on Monday May 19th from 3pm. It will be a fun and creative afternoon inspired by Dominican traditional games and toys, they will also have the opportunity to taste traditional Dominican sweets, such as, Jalao, Canquiñas, Bolitas y Pilones. The event has been planned to commemorate the International Day of Museums (Sunday May 18th), and is a great opportunity for your little ones to learn about lots of fun Dominican traditional games, while having lots of fun outside in the beautiful outdoors! This is a repeat of the first afternoon of “Dominican Traditional Games” celebrated last month, which was such a success that it’s been brought back by popular demand!
