The song “El Bacalao” (Codfish), released in 2003, became very popular in the Dominican Republic – because it talks about customs and gastronomy shared between many countries of the Caribbean – “bacalao con papas” (codfish with potatoes) is one of the typical dishes of the Dominican Republic (loved and enjoyed by Julio Iglesias during his many visits), and it was written in tribute to the islands of the Caribbean!
To get you in the mood for some “Bacalao” and the upcoming Julio Iglesias concert, here we share his video:
We look forward to seeing you there!!
