Polo in Casa de Campo is a sport that gathers longtime admirers and new followers, and with the polo department’s Polo and Horseback Riding Clinics for Children even little ones are becoming fans! Casa de Campo announces its summer polo tournament, Copa Amistad going on now through TOMORROW, JULY 15th! The games play at 5:30p.m. at the Casa de Campo Polo Fields, and this tournament features a handicap of 8-12. Teams CDC Pitirri, Lechuza, and La Aratina are competing for the title.
How summer polo works is that anyone can sign up to play and form teams by contacting Polo Director Fernando Arata, who is organizing the games. Practices are played on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and after tomorrow’s Copa Amistad, the final tournament will play in August featuring the best local players in an all-Dominican competition! Enjoy afternoon polo games for another one of Casa’s fun summer activities. See you on the fields!
