As some may know, this month on the 8th we celebrate Women’s Day here in the Dominican Republic, and on Friday, March 9th, the ladies of Cafe de la Leche are hosting their monthly charitable gathering at the International Salon Casa de Campo with a Touch of Red theme, honoring the empowerment of women worldwide!
Cafe de la Leche is a community of women that come together monthly to collect donations for the Hogar del Niño crib room. What better group to be hosting a Women’s Day event than this one? The women of the Casa de Campo community have been hosting these get togethers and supplying nutrition and formula for the Hogar del Niño crib room for sixteen years! What an incredible display of the strength of women!
Next Friday, March 9th, wear a touch of red and join the ladies of Cafe de la Leche at the hotel at the International Salon. Men are welcome too! Be sure to bring a contribution of RD$1,200 or the equivalent in milk and formula! Help the ladies of Cafe de la Leche continue to provide for the children of La Romana, and show your support for Women’s Day by wearing something red! We’ll see you there!
