On this past Sunday the 7th of November, Casa de Campo was once again recognised as the World’s Leading Golf Resort and the Caribbean’s Leading Golf Resort at the World Travel Awards held in London.
Casa de Campo’s victory at the World Travel awards is considered to be of such importance for Casa de Campo and the entire of the Dominican Republic, that it made headline news in the National Newspaper ‘Hoy,’ who proudly proclaimed Casa de Campo to be ‘Lo Mejor Golf Resort del Mundo.’

Casa de Campo Dominates World, Caribbean and DR Golf Awards and cited DR’s Leading Resort
La Romana, Dominican Republic — Nov. 8, 2010: Dr. Claudio Silvestri, president & CEO of Premier Resorts & Hotels, the management company for Casa de Campo, proudly represented the Dominican Republic’s top luxury resort last night as Casa de Campo was recognized as the 2010 World’s Leading Golf Resort for the fourth consecutive year; 2010 Caribbean’s Leading Golf Resort for the fifth consecutive year; 2010 Dominican Republic’s Leading Golf Resort for the sixth consecutive year and the 2010 Dominican Republic’s Leading Resort, also for the sixth consecutive year.
