Capitan Kidd was Bayahibe’s ‘new’ party bar, but now that it’s been open for over 6 months, it’s not so new! Nevertheless we thought it was high time we brought you a ‘mini-review’ on this bar, which since it’s opening has been getting more and more popular, and has now become, dare we say, Bayahibe’s most popular bar.  

Capitan Kidd opened this September and has since then gained a reputation as the place to party in Bayahibe, for a rocking good time. It has a fantastic relaxed and fun atmosphere, with the bar staff dressed as pirates and plenty of sitting space indoors and a few beds for lounging on outside. Watching the sunset over the bay of Bayahibe, with the tiki torches lit up and the cuba-libres well poured, Captain Kidd is an idealic beach bar that is part tourist trap, part trendy beach club and all a good time.

Final Verdict: Aahhrggg!! This be the place to come with your mateys and enjoy a pint of their fine ales and spirits while deciding which treasure chest to take home.
