Explore La Romana/Bayahibe: El Tracadero Beach Club

beach clubOn Casa de Campo Living’s recent journey of discovery, otherwise known as our ‘press trip‘ to various destinations in La Romana and Bayahibe, we visited a number of amazing places we never even knew existed and El Tracadero Beach Club is one of them!

restaurantWhere to start?  While this short review will not possibly do it justice, we’ll start by simply stating that walking in, one wondered if it was possible you where still in the Dominican Republic.

El Tracadero is part Italian gourmet restaurant open to the public and part exclusive members-only club. It’s beautiful, it’s modern, it’s clean, it’s chic. Though we only got to try a few delectible desserts, we were quite impressed with the flavors, the presentation and the service. Seriously, we had to check to make sure we where still in Bayahibe. Kind of reminds you what can happen when good taste and a beautiful environment are married.beach cub

We got to tip-toe around the exclusive members only Beach Club – it was simply stunning. Not at all crowded, rather, elegantly laid out to give you space, relaxation and ambiance. Beautiful gardens overlooking the ocean with comfortable sun loungers, as well as well as chairs and beds overlooking the Caribbean sea. With a handful of dining tables on a ledge over the ocean and a simply gorgeous restaurant to serve up what is apparently an authentic Italian kitchen, we look forward to providing a more in-depth review, pending a little more ‘research’ and ‘inspiration’.

Final Verdict: While we can only yet recommend the deserts, the entire place is stunning and very photogenic. We hope to be back soon to provide a more in-depth review.
