Last Thursday the 17th of December Casa de Campo invited all hotel guests and Casa de Campo villa owners to participate in a CYBEX Golf Training seminar, which was held in the new Casa de Campo fitness center. Since it’s opening last week, the new Casa de Campo fitness center had been heralded as being one of the most well equipped gym’s in the entire Caribbean! The new gym is almost completely kitted out with brand new CYBEX equipment and this special training seminar was put together to teach guests (especially golfers) to best use the new CYBEX equipment.

Here David Mendez, CYBEX Director of Sales for the Dominican Republic tells us more about the workshop:

The workshop covered a brief intro on how golfers whether amateur and/or pro can benefit from a well structured fitness routine to improve their existing golf game but also on how to prevent them from causing common injuries that will hinder their ability to play for the years to come. It illustrated techniques on resistance training for the specific muscle groups used in a golf swing with our Cybexequipment in the new facility. The training staff worked with Dr. Slavin on how to properly perform those techniques and exercises the last few days and we believe that this knowledge will lead to better training for all hotel guests and members that use the fitness facility.
