Sunday, the 3rd of November, 1991, was a fantastic day in Casa de Campo. It was the final day of Dueños ’91 and there were plenty of activities planned.
The day started at 9 AM with a Children’s Camp at the Sports Center. Then a Day of Sea & Sun began at 10 AM with a Golf Cart Rally – Mini-Olympics between Villa Sectors.
By 11:30 AM everyone was at Minitas for a Beer Drinking Contest and Barbeque Brunch.
The rest of the day was devoted to meeting friends and family, conversation, volleyball and other games, playing in the sand on the beach, sailing, and the contests.
The first contest was a “Miss, Mrs. & Mr. Dueños ’91″ competition at 1 PM, later there a Merengue Contest at 3PM (more about the Merengue Contest next time).
The contests generated a lot of excitement and cheers from the spectators gathered around. A band played all day and into the evening.
