Cafe de la Leche and Bazar! – Friday 4th September

This month’s Cafe de la Leche is being hosted by Sarah de Castro and Amelia Pereya at Playa Minitas #1a from 5pm. The Cafe de la Leche is a monthly event which brings together Casa de Campo’s ladies, who are invited to enjoy a pleasant evening of polite conversation over a drink and a few nibbles. In exchange for attending the event, ladies bring a donation of dried milk, baby formula or cereal which are donated to the Hogar del Niño’s Crib Room (’La Sala Cuna.’)
This month’s hosts Sarah and Amelia have joined forces to make this Cafe de la Leche extra special – not only can we expect the ‘normal’ array of healthy nibbles, naughty treats and liquid refreshments, but there will be a Bazar! Everyone and anyone has been invited to participate with the option of having a ‘table’ to sell things such as handmade jewelry and bags and much more, with a percentage of all sales going directly to the Hogar del Nino. So as well as your tin of milk, don’t forget your purse – you never know what you might be tempted into buying!
Its not too late to get a table for yourself, to reserve your table or to find out more email Sarah or Amelia on smtroncoso@codetel.net.do or ameliapereyrab@gmail.com
