Cafe de la Construction

Submitted by Mr B on August 21, 2008 – No Comment
Could there be someone new moving into Altos de Chavon? Where once stood the familiar Cafe del Sol, which served brick / wood oven pizza for more years than I can remember, now stands nothing but a closed up space begging to be opened.
I have such fond memories of Cafe del Sol, having some of the most delicious pizzas this side of the Atlantic. Like any place, it had its ups and downs with the quality varying from “Oh my god thats great” to “You call this Pizza?”.  Though admittedly the pizza was always pretty darn good.
Today it is empty. Either waiting for high-season to start back up, or waiting for someone to take over and offer something new. To anyone listening – a great relaxing lounge-y area that searves simple LIGHT fare would be greatly appreciated, especially with a little house music and some nice cool drinks.
